A hotel butler is a dedicated and highly skilled professional who is responsible for providing personalized service to guests during their stay at a luxury hotel. They act as a personal assistant, anticipating and fulfilling the needs and preferences of guests to ensure a memorable and comfortable experience. Hotel butlers are trained in the art of hospitality and are adept at handling a wide range of tasks, from arranging transportation and restaurant reservations to unpacking luggage and providing recommendations for local attractions. They are experts in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and their attention to detail and commitment to excellence make them an essential part of the luxury hotel experience.

Job Requirements

  • Well grooming and good communication skills. In order to communicate to international VIP guest, Fluent in English and Mandarin or Fluent in English and Cantonese is a must.
  • At least 1 year of Hotel related job experience such as Front Office, Concierge, VIP Service, Butler Service.
  • Relevant work experience in Forbes 5 star hotel is an advantage.
  • Accept shift and overnight shift work on weekdays and public holidays.
  • Other Information
  • 5 days per week; daily 8 hours. Total 40 hours/week.

Job Description

  • Pay attention to the guest arrival and departure, establish a good relationship with guests, collect and update guests’ personal information, preferences, habits and hobbies, to ensure that the best personalized butler service is provided;
  • Serving VIP guests from the hotel, preparing for greeting etiquette and arrangements;
  • Follow up the check-in and check-out procedures, catering services, laundry services and butler services, ensure that the service requests are followed up by the relevant departments and delivered on time to the guest;
  • Ensure that the daily supplies in the suites meet the standards of department;
  • Answer guests’ enquiries and requests in a professional manner, actively communicate with relevant internal departments so as to provide appropriate services.
